Members of ISAE and the Association Forum of Chicagoland will once again share with state lawmakers their legislative and regulatory concerns during Associations Advance Illinois Day on March 17.  This one-day event will help educate and inform legislators of the nearly 50,000 association professionals who represent more than 2000 associations headquartered in Illinois.

This year, even more so than previous years, we are asking you not to leave your association unrepresented at this event—even though many of you spend numerous days at the Statehouse.  With the recent effort to battle changes to the Lobby Registration Act, the association community needs your voice to help carry the message that there is a concern for real ethics reform, and that associations are important and beneficial to the state of Illinois.  Members of the association community are very visible in Springfield and Illinois, but impact every Illinois industry through advocacy, education, training and consumer protection.
 

ISAE and Association Forum will provide a briefing over lunch on issues for discussion and will provide supporting materials to be left for legislators and their staff.  The day will conclude with a legislative reception sponsored by both associations at the Sangamo Club. 

There is a $25 fee to cover the cost of the luncheon.  ISAE and Association Forum will underwrite costs for the reception.
